As awareness grows around digital well-being and mental health, physical environments are increasingly recognized as powerful agents in shaping behavior, focus, and emotional balance. Reboot Retreat is an architectural ideas competition inviting designers to envision a Digital Detox Center—a place where individuals step away from screens and reconnect with themselves, others, and nature. In a world overwhelmed by technology, this competition challenges architects to create a sanctuary that restores balance through thoughtful spatial design. The project calls for imagination at the intersection of architecture, psychology, wellness, and nature, encouraging participants to rethink the role of space in an overstimulated world.
